An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Category Assistant to join our Customer & Product team in the National Accounts Strategic Account Team. Your main responsibility will be to support the Customer & Product Manager in creating the most productive Everyday displays for your account.
Note: This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 9-12 months.
This is a customer-facing role involving communication with internal departments. The key responsibilities include:
1. Assist the Category Controller with interpreting item performance to recommend changes to displays.
2. Gather samples and product information for display setup.
3. Collaborate with Product Development, Customer Operations, Business Information, and other departments to recommend appropriate product ranges.
4. Create sales reports with the Business Information team and Category Controller to monitor productivity and prepare customer presentations.
5. Communicate regularly with internal UKG divisions to develop account needs.
6. Conduct competitive and product trend analysis.
We seek a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and advanced Excel skills. The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines is essential.
