WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Lead initiatives to design and scale secure, highly available cloud infrastructure (primarily on AWS) as our platform grows.
* Drive improvements to platform performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency by evolving our cloud architecture and operations.
* Manage and enhance our container orchestration stack using Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
* Develop and maintain robust, scalable CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
* Strengthen observability across the platform through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting (AWS services, Grafana, etc).
* Contribute to platform security through infrastructure hardening, role-based access controls, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
* Collaborate with engineering teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows across environments.
* Build and maintain tooling and automation that reduce friction and accelerate delivery.
* Document infrastructure, systems, and operational processes clearly and accessibly.
* Champion best practices and contribute to a culture of reliability, learning, and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING
* Proven experience in a platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering role, supporting production systems at scale.
* Deep knowledge of AWS core services (e.g. EC2, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, SecretsManager, ElastiCache, DocumentDB), with experience designing secure and reliable cloud architectures.
* Strong understanding of containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
* Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or ArgoCD.
* Familiarity with infrastructure as code practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
* A solid grasp of system observability, monitoring, and alerting practices (CloudWatch, Grafana, or equivalent).
* Exposure to platform security principles including identity/access management, secrets handling, and environment isolation.
* Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash, Groovy, Python, Rust, Node.js, PHP).
* Comfortable partnering with engineers to improve workflows and resolve cross-cutting platform challenges.
* Clear communicator who documents systems well and contributes meaningfully to architectural discussions.
* A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and team success.
* BSc in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other software/design discipline.

* Development tools: GitHub, Jira, Notion, ChatGPT, Gemini, LangChain, AI-native IDE's (Cursor, JetBrains), LLM-powered internal tools.
* Test automation: Cypress (E2E), Postman (API), Jest (frontend unit), PHPUnit (backend unit), JUnit (Android), XCTest (iOS).
