Overview
Job Title: Port Worker – Night Shift
Location: Immingham
Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Pay: £12.21 - 15.07 per hour
Responsibilities
* Load and unload cargo from ships, trucks, and containers.
* Operate port machinery and equipment safely (training provided where necessary).
* Inspect and secure cargo to prevent damage or loss.
* Follow all health and safety procedures.
* Work efficiently to meet deadlines and support the overall flow of operations.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a port, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred (but not essential).
* Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
* Comfortable working outdoors and at night in varying weather conditions.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety procedures.
* Driver’s licence is preferred but not mandatory unless plant driving.
* Opportunities with a full driving licence to upskill internally to Tug, Tipper, RoRo, Loading shovel driving on guaranteed hour contracts.

Location
This role as a port operative is easily commutable from Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham, Brigg, Barton, Hull, Beverly.
