Driver Hire Brighton & Eastbourne is recruiting professional, reliable PCV Mini-bus drivers to support one of our prestigious clients in the Brighton area with school trips and extra curricular activities. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified bus/minibus drivers looking for flexible, casual work with a reputable local transport recruitment specialist.
What you’ll need:
1. Possession of a valid Full UK licence, Full PCV (Category D1) licence
2. Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
3. A positive, customer focused attitude & love of driving
4. Professional and smart appearance
5. Excellent timekeeper
6. Previous experience preferred with school contracts
7. Proof of Right to work in the UK (birth certificate or Passport)
8. No DR10 endorsements on driving record
9. Safety boots and Hi-vis
About the role:
10. Providing safe, professional passenger transport services to students aged 13-18, operating local routes, airport runs and day trips out
11. Working on a casual / ad-hoc basis to support regular runs and short-notice requirements
12. Shifts may include early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends (we will try to meet your preference)
13. Conduct thorough vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
14. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
15. Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers
