Job Description
We’re looking for someone who has exposure to in depth testing and fault diagnosis of electronic & electrical assemblies. The testing will range from system level down to individual PEC’s, fault finding to component level.
We offer fantastic support and hands on training to help get you up to speed, as what we’re working on really is one of a kind – along with a 4 day working week, 9.25 hours a day, Monday to Thursday
What you’ll do:
Understanding of testing and fault diagnosis of Analogue and Digital PEC’s .
1. Exposure to testing and fault diagnosis of electronic and electrical assemblies and their sub-assemblies.
2. Test and fault diagnosis of electronic circuits to component level utilising a range of proprietary and special to type test equipment including scopes, network and spectrum analysers and function generators.
3. Test and fault diagnosis using ATE - Knowledge of operating Teradyne L321 and using Labview based ATE would be an advantage.
4. Programming electronic devices using a variety of methods.
5. Compilation of Test Results sheets & recording operation transactions within Oracle B1.
Nice to haves – but not essential:
6. Experience of working in a production test department.
7. Able to interpret circuit diagrams and identify faults to component level.
8. Must be able to identify and carry out actions required with minimal supervision.
9. Good communicator at all levels, with proven influencing skills.
10. PC literate in the use of Microsoft Office Tool set.
11. Knowledge of Oracle B1.
Desireable:
12. Experience of working with Configuration and Document Management systems.
13. Experience of assembling, maintaining and modifying STTE in accordance with defining documents.
14. Knowledge and experience of lean and continuous improvement techniques such as FMEA, Value Engineering, Kaizen, 5S, 6 Sigma.
