Description
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry and reconciliations.
Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable tasks.
Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance requirements.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Provide support during audits and resolve queries as needed.
Maintain organised financial documentation and filing systems.
Collaborate with other departments to address financial queries and issues.Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
Experience in basic accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to resolving financial discrepancies.
Knowledge of VAT processes and compliance requirements.
The ability to work collaboratively within a finance team.
