The Senior Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the delivery of all production IT services to the firm. Working closely with the Systems and IT Security managers, this person ensures high-quality service to end users. The Service Delivery Manager ensures Service Support and Service Delivery Processes are in place and managed effectively. This role is both within the IT team and is a "business-facing" role, requiring the establishment and management of expectations within the firm and driving the IT Service Team to meet those expectations at a high standard.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Oversee end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure and security services, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
* Ensure service delivery meets SLAs and KPIs.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
* Manage client escalations, resolving issues promptly and satisfactorily.
* Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with sales and account management teams.
* Review proposed modifications to project plans and facilitate approval and implementation.
* Anticipate transformation deals and opportunities by communicating with customers and staying informed of industry trends.
* Handle vendor relationships from reporting, procurement, and service management perspectives.
* Monitor financial performance, ensuring delivery costs are within budget and profit margins are maintained.
* Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
* Manage invoicing for project activities and coordinate with Finance and customers.
* Stay updated with trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
* Identify opportunities for innovation and work with technical teams to implement new solutions.
* Foster a culture of innovation within the delivery team.
* Drive automation across accounts.
* Develop and deliver reports on service delivery performance, including metrics on availability, reliability, and security.
* Analyze service delivery data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
Technical Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience executing cloud, security, and data center infrastructure projects covering all stacks, including perimeter network, multi-cloud, virtualization, server stack, Office 365, cloud migration, BCP & DR, DevOps backup & recovery projects.
* Strong knowledge of cloud, data center, and security infrastructure technologies (VMware, Checkpoint, F5, Palo Alto, Extreme).
* Understanding of the latest cloud, data center security, and cybersecurity technologies.
* Experience with large transformational deals involving data center migration/consolidation and end-user services transformation.
* Preferably ITSM/SIAM certified.
* 10+ years managing cloud, infrastructure, security operations, and projects in the infrastructure space.
Qualification:
* Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, or equivalent (IT-related qualification may be required).
