Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties
* Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites, ensuring a safe and organised working environment.
* Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
* Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Experience
* Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
* Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is preferred.
* A valid driving licence would be beneficial for site access but is not mandatory.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.
