Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Service Controller, you will:
* Lead the Service Engineering Team: Understand and respond to customer requests, assess and prioritize their needs, and identify actionable steps with agreed timelines.
* Support Fleet Availability: Ensure processes are followed, inspections, repairs, and maintenance are performed timely, and all data is accurately recorded.
* Plan Jobs Effectively: Maximize engineer productivity and asset utilization by allocating the right resources to meet customer needs.
* Manage Job Progress: Oversee every stage of job progress to ensure smooth operations.
* Drive Best Practices: Implement 5-star contamination control practices through audits and operational excellence.
* Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Liaise with customers to resolve issues for mutual benefit.
* Maximize Billing Accuracy: Open and close work orders consistently to ensure timely billing.
* Identify Opportunities: Address safety reworks and maintenance while keeping systems updated.
* Engage Employees: Foster a motivated team environment aligned with business targets.
* Maintain Safety Standards: Implement procedural changes to ensure site, people, and equipment security.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Customer Service Skills: Ability to build strong customer relationships.

* IT Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel, Teams, and Outlook is essential.

Knowledge and Expertise
Ideal candidates will have:
* Knowledge of diesel generator products and engine/fuel control systems.
* Familiarity with M3/INFOR systems (training provided).
* Experience in parts identification and ordering.
* Understanding of warranty processes and commissioning.
