About the role
Pay Details: Grade 6, SCP 14 - 19, £28,624 - £31,067 (Pro Rata), £14.84 - £16.10 p/h
Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks a year, Monday – Friday
Main Place of Work: Oak Field Primary School
Description: This role includes delivering high-quality classroom support and providing cover across the school, ensuring that learning continues to flourish. You will play a key role in enhancing the learning experience for all pupils and will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, purposeful learning in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
About you
The Successful Candidate Will:
1. Provide whole-class cover as required, delivering planned lessons that engage, challenge and support learners.
2. Work closely with teaching staff to deliver and evaluate learning experiences that support progression and independence.
3. Have a strong working knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales, including the Four Purposes and principles of effective pedagogy.
4. Demonstrate the ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, staff and families.
5. Model and uphold high expectations for learning, behaviour and wellbeing.
6. Have the appropriate DBS Check: Enhanced & Barred Both
7. Have EWS Registration
