About The Role
This is a full-time role working 38.5 hours from 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am. Full flexibility is required.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will be involved in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care, delivering personalised care plans and supporting residents to feel secure, dignified and independent. You will lead a team of Care Assistants, maintain high standards of care, and influence the rest of the team. You may help with activities, assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, and contribute to essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, as well as administering medication. You will also maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with the team.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or equivalent, with background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of dementia care. Core requirements are positive energy, the ability to get along with people, good record-keeping, time management, and considerate communication with residents and co-workers.
