We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Inspector to lead inspection activities and ensure products meet the highest precision standards. This role requires someone who can take full ownership of quality control, including visual and dimensional inspections, CMM operation, and first-off/last-off checks. You will analyse non-conformances, raise reports, and work closely with production to prevent issues before they occur. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings are essential. The ideal candidate will be confident making decisions on product conformity and will drive improvements in processes and inspection practices across the team. You must have Hands‑on experience in a precision engineering / metal‑machining environment. Skilled in visual & dimensional inspection using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, height gauges, etc. — working to very tight tolerances. Practical experience with full inspection workflows, reporting and CMM use. Able to read & interpret technical drawings and engineering symbols. Accurate metric & imperial measurement ability. Strong communication, numeracy and record‑keeping skills. Familiarity with AS9100 or equivalent quality systems is desirable. Competent with Microsoft Office.Key duties Perform first‑off, in‑process (patrol), incoming and final inspections. Produce inspection reports, Certificates of Conformity and First Article paperwork. Identify, quarantine and report non‑conforming items; raise NCRs / concession requests. Maintain traceable manufacturing records.
