As Client Services Director, you will be proven at establishing and nurturing effective, long-lasting client partnerships. You will take strategic ownership of your accounts, providing the very highest levels of client service as well as identifying and driving new business opportunities. You will ensure those opportunities are converted and accounts are grown, in line with the strategy and growth targets of the agency you have set.
You will have in-depth knowledge of the industry and be able to confidently establish your seniority with clients at all levels. As a natural leader, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an efficient, effective, and profitable service; whilst creating space for their personal growth and development. With exceptional commercial acumen, you will have complete responsibility for the financial success of your client roster and your agency team, driving profitability and the growth of the agency against agreed metrics.
What you’ll be doing:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, ensuring their satisfaction, retention and repeat business which has the scope to develop
· Develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business and vested interests. Work with them in partnership to ensure mutual gains
· Be proactive in identifying opportunities to drive new business activity across existing and new clients – personally lead the conversion of such opportunities to tangible gains where appropriate, or delegate and guide your team to do the same, where necessary
· Play a leading role in pitch activity. Where appropriate, use your existing knowledge of the client and their industry to shape the strategic response. Direct and guide the internal team, ensuring that all elements of the brief are answered fully
· Improve the services and processes of your team and the broader agency. Be proactive in making recommendations to drive positive change, leading internal meetings, debriefs and training initiatives as appropriate
· Empower the team, delegating clearly and effectively whilst maintaining overall responsibility for the work that they produce
· Actively foster an atmosphere of positive working that allows creative and effective work to flourish

· Proven confident and effective management and leadership skills gained within an agency
· A collaborative mindset
· The ability to think strategically and critically across account/agency portfolios, flexing long term big picture /horizon planning and day to day problem solving
· You’re used to being the 'Face of the agency' in front of clients
