THE SENIOR SUPPORT ENGINEER ROLE
As a Senior Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the critical infrastructure and software that powers vital services. You will perform hands‑on maintenance to ensure systems remain operational while monitoring for maximum availability. You will also support the wider development team in remediating critical issues and identifying technical risks to proactively develop mitigation plans.
SENIOR SUPPORT ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Hands on experience supporting and debugging complex live operational systems
* Proficiency in Linux server administration
* Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk or ELK stack
* Knowledge of containerisation (Docker or Podman) and deployment (Kubernetes or OpenShift)
* Experience with Java and Python application management
* Familiarity with Apache NiFi, MinIO, or AWS S3
