Job description:
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused waiter/waitress to join our front-of-house team at The Castle Edge Hill. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional service.
We are looking for part-time staff that can work evenings and weekends. Experience in a previous role would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities
* Greet guests with a warm and welcoming manner
* Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
* Serve food and beverages to tables, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
* Maintain a clean and well-presented dining area, including resetting tables
* Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
* Handle customer queries or complaints professionally and promptly
* Upsell menu items and promotions when appropriate
* Process payments and handle cash/card transactions correctly
* Follow all health and safety and food hygiene procedures
* Be a positive, proactive member of the team, supporting colleagues as needed
Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Friendly, outgoing personality with a "can-do" attitude
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and multi-task
* Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Well-presented, punctual, and reliable
* A genuine interest in food, drink, and providing great service
