Teaching Assistant – Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Location: Bournemouth (BH1) Salary: £92.63 per day Hours: Term-time only | Full-time or part-time available About the Role Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary school settings in the Bournemouth (BH1) area. You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Roles may include general classroom support or 1:1 and small group work, including supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and day-to-day classroom activities Provide 1:1 or small group interventions to support learning and progress Work with pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) where required Help manage behaviour in line with school policies Prepare learning resources and support classroom organisation Promote inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing at all times What We’re Looking For Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, care, coaching, or similar experience considered) A patient, positive, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
