Legal CashierLocation: MaidstoneSalary: £30,000 - £32,000Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a respected and established practice?

The successful candidate will ensure all financial transactions are processed in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules, Money Laundering Regulations, and internal compliance procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately recording and processing financial transactions across client and office accounts
* Performing daily and regular bank reconciliations
* Managing payments including electronic transfers, petty cash, and disbursements
* Administering deposit accounts and calculating client interest as required
* Assisting with transfers between accounts and maintaining up-to-date records
* Supporting compliance and internal audits through accurate data handling and adherence to procedures
* Providing guidance to team members on finance protocols and SRA regulations
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a legal or professional services environment
* Strong working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and best practice in legal finance
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload with accuracy
* Confidence using legal finance software and MS Office (particularly Excel)
* A proactive and team-oriented approach
