Salary: £30,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: We are seeking a senior programme leader with proven experience delivering large, complex transformation programmes end to end. We require strong experience in ERP delivery, ideally Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP across Finance, HR, Payroll, Purchasing and related functions. We are looking for experience managing integrated delivery across multiple workstreams, including technical, functional, data, business change and supplier streams. We need demonstrable experience in programme governance, assurance, reporting, RAID management and executive-level decision making. We require strong commercial and supplier management skills, including oversight of third-party implementation partners and software vendors. We are looking for experience leading organisational change, business readiness, cutover and transition to business as usual. We require excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across senior leadership, operational teams, corporate functions and external partners. We need strong communication, influencing and leadership skills with credibility at executive level. We require a resilient, decisive and delivery-focused approach with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and take corrective action. We are looking for strong political awareness, collaborative working style and the ability to manage complex organisational environments. We require knowledge of public sector, policing, security, regulatory and legislative requirements. We expect the ability to maintain high standards of quality, compliance and programme integrity throughout delivery. Responsibilities: We provide strategic leadership and direction for the ERP transformation programme. We own the programme vision, blueprint, scope, roadmap and benefits realisation strategy. We establish governance structures, assurance models, controls and reporting mechanisms. We make key decisions on prioritisation, scope, resourcing, sequencing and risk appetite. We act as the bridge between technical implementation partners and programme governance bodies. We lead the end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and the integrated Duty Management System. We oversee integrated planning across all workstreams to ensure coherent delivery. We manage contracts and suppliers through delivery and ensure a smooth transition into business as usual. We promote an adopt, not adapt approach, encouraging standard best-practice workflows over bespoke processes. We ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with police-specific and wider public sector requirements. We resolve escalations, conflicts and blockers across workstreams. We chair programme boards and provide transparent reporting to executive and governance stakeholders. We maintain robust RAID management and proactively mitigate risks and dependencies. We act as the senior interface between operational policing, business leadership, corporate services, IT, Finance, HR and external partners. We serve as the primary contact for Oracle, the implementation partner and the DMS supplier. We engage end users, unions, staff associations and operational representatives throughout the programme. We champion transformation, process improvement and business change. We oversee change, training, communications and business readiness activities. We approve cutover, go-live readiness, transition to BAU plans and acceptance criteria. We maintain oversight of risks, issues, dependencies and constraints across all workstreams. We ensure compliance with policing security, regulatory and legislative requirements. We take decisive action to address underperformance or programme deviation.
