We currently have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to work at our Reading STW site.
As the successful candidate, your role will include performing front-line activities such as operation, sampling, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure services meet standards in time, cost, and quality.
This may involve planned and preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operation. The role includes daily sampling duties to ensure effluent quality and process data meet standards.

What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician
1. Carrying out scheduled maintenance on plant and equipment to improve resilience.
2. Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to maintain safety and operational standards.
3. Responding to reactive jobs following equipment failure.
4. Maintaining site cleanliness and conducting safety and security checks.
5. Working safely and adhering to all Health and Safety procedures.
6. Location: Reading STW - RG2 0RP, with travel expected in the surrounding area.
7. Hours: 38 hours/week, Monday to Friday, plus standby rota with additional pay.
