Staff retention rates are excellent, and they offer industry-leading benefits. They are currently seeking a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services team.
Your new role
* Ensuring understanding of project briefs and designing/specifying all Electrical Building Services systems such as power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection, etc.
* Carrying out (and managing others in) detailed calculations using industry-standard software including Excel, Dialux, Amtech, and in-house tools.
* Representing the organization at meetings with clients and contractors.
* Conducting site surveys, inspections, and monitoring site works.
* Preparing reports and technical notes.
* Maintaining complete records and archives according to company standards.
* Adhering to quality, environmental, and governance processes.
What you'll need to succeed
* Degree qualification or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
* At least 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering on Building Services projects.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and building codes.
* Experience working in a design consultancy and/or within a contractor design environment.
* Detailed knowledge of relevant technical standards.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
