Job Description
We're looking for a skilled and proactive Fabric Engineer to join a busy and supportive maintenance team based at a large, high-profile site in Weybridge.
You'll be carrying out a mix of planned and reactive works, ensuring the buildings are kept to the highest standards. The role covers a variety of hands-on tasks, with a particular focus on carpentry skills, but also spanning wider fabric maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out PPM and reactive fabric works across the site
* Carpentry and joinery tasks - doors, locks, frames, shelving, and general woodwork
* Basic plumbing repairs - taps, toilets, sinks, pipework
* Painting and decorating - touch-ups and small projects
* Tiling, plastering, and patch repairs as required
* Ceiling, flooring, and partition repairs
* Fitting signage, fixtures, and fittings
* Supporting with general building maintenance and repairs to keep facilities in excellent condition
* Following all health & safety procedures
* Recording work accurately on PDA devices and maintaining service standards
* Liaising with the client and working closely with the wider facilities team to deliver a first-class service
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in building/fabric maintenance
* Good carpentry/joinery skills (highly desirable)
* Additional skills across plumbing, painting, tiling, plastering, and general fabric works
* Full UK driving licence
* Fire door experience/licence beneficial (training can be provided)
* IPAF/PASMA certification desirable (training available)
Package
* Salary up to £34,500
* Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM working hours - no shifts!
