TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a successful chartered accountancy practice in Rochester.
This highly reputable and successful accountancy practice acts for wide ranging clients, across varied industries including sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies.
You will work in a mixed position, primarily across statutory accounts and tax but you will also get exposure to bookkeeping and VAT, alongside other specialist services.
The firm has a growing department focused on OMBs, up to several million in turnover, partnerships and smaller sole traders where this role will focus. You will join a close-knit team, where you will be encouraged and supported to develop your career.
Requirements
Semi Senior Accountant Rochester
* You will have experience working in an accountancy practice, handling a mix of services such as accounts preparation, tax, management accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT for a diverse client base, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Ideally, you will have at least 2+ years of practice experience, with a desire to further develop your career.
* You may be AAT qualified or studying, or training towards ACCA/ACA, or have progressed through hands-on experience.
Benefits

* £28,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

Requirements
Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience. 5-10+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience. Experience preparing accounts and tax returns. Experience of QuickBooks, Xero or Sage would be advantageous.
