What the Job Involves As an Assessment Officer, you will report to the Team Manager and collaborate with various directorates, health services, housing services, and voluntary organizations. Your primary responsibilities include carrying a caseload, undertaking assessments, support planning, and reviews for vulnerable and disabled individuals. You will maximize clients' potential independence, contribute to service development, ensure compliance with statutory obligations, and manage resources effectively. You will also play a role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals, implementing support plans, performing risk assessments, and liaising with other professionals and agencies.
