You will work closely with Heads of Year, safeguarding leads and families to reduce persistent absence and remove barriers to learning.

The Role
As an Attendance & Pastoral Support Officer, you will:
* Monitor daily attendance and identify patterns of concern
* Contact parents/carers regarding absence
* Support reintegration meetings for persistent absentees
* Work with vulnerable students to remove attendance barriers
* Liaise with safeguarding and external agencies where required
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting
You will need to be confident having professional conversations with families and maintaining clear expectations.
