Job Title: Shift Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Manager to join our organization. Based at our Remote Operations Centre in Rotherham, this role supports plant optimisation across multiple international sites.
You'll operate from a control room environment using SCADA and PLC systems to manage real-time plant operations and performance, ensuring safe and efficient supply of tonnage and bulk gases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Optimise remote plant operations, reducing power consumption
* Interface with sites and product supply teams to meet demand
* Support start-up, shut-down and emergency scenarios
* Monitor and maintain process safety parameters for ASUs and HYCO plants
* Identify and resolve performance issues; drive process improvements
* Produce monthly performance reports and track KPIs
* Support onboarding and training of new sites
What You'll Bring to The Team
* Experience in Chemical, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Pharmaceutical environments
* Proficient with P&ID and PFD interpretation
* Background in Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Engineering
* Air separation (ASU), HYCO and CO2 experience advantageous
* Engineering degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
