About The Role
This is a full-time role working day shifts, 38.5 hours per week. Full flexibility is needed.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will contribute to Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care across our homes, delivering personalised care that gives residents a sense of security, dignity and independence. You will lead a team of Care Assistants and work closely with residents and their families to implement care plans. You may support residents with activities of daily living, assist with meals, and communicate with family members as needed, always prioritising kindness.
Key responsibilities include assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administering medication. You will also maintain accurate records and build strong relationships with your team.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma/SNVQ in Adult Care and be prepared to work towards Level 3 or equivalent. Background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia is desirable. What’s essential is positive energy and the ability to get along with people, maintain good record keeping, manage your time effectively, and communicate with residents and co-workers with genuine kindness.
