We’re looking for a dynamic Science Teacher (any subject specialism – Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) with a track record of excellent classroom practice and a drive to inspire young minds. As Second in Science, you’ll support the Head of Department in raising achievement and driving forward high standards across Key Stages 3 and 4.
This is the ideal position for a teacher looking to step into middle leadership or to expand their existing leadership portfolio in a collaborative, high-support environment.

Key responsibilities:
* Support departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development
* Contribute to whole-school teaching and learning initiatives
* Lead and mentor colleagues, including ECTs and trainee teachers
* Promote and deliver high-quality Science teaching across KS3 and KS4
* Play an active role in extra-curricular Science activities and trips

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Proven experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
* A passion for subject leadership and curriculum innovation
* Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
