Summary of Role:
The Indirect Supply Chain Management Team are responsible for all bought-in products and services for non-customer deliverables; managing a diverse Supply Chain spend worth circa £65M annually.
The Indirect Commodity Management & Sourcing Senior Analyst works within the Sourcing and Commodity Management team developing the strategies for a core group of commodities in alignment with stakeholder needs and the overall RTX and Raytheon UK commodity strategy. This may include developing business cases, managing the tendering and negotiation of medium scale sourcing projects, and ongoing performance management of the key suppliers for their commodities.

This role will offer you the following challenges:
1. Liaising with peers from other functions and RTX businesses and the Functional LT.
2. Leading or supporting cross-functional teams in conducting make v buy exercises and developing and deploying commodity strategies; including: Target Return on Investment (ROI); commodity risk management; targeted service levels; and approved/preferred suppliers.
3. Engaging with stakeholder functional leads regarding supplier bid and selection criteria.
4. Participating in / leading supplier assessments and supplier development activity teams, including the administration of appropriate due diligence activity
5. Working at an international level with RTX colleagues to leverage commodity opportunities and synergies across RTX.
6. Ensuring that strategies are in alignment with market conditions, Raytheon requirements, goals and growth plans.
7. Leveraging supplier and industry capabilities in conjunction with stakeholder functions to align functional strategies and identifying gaps to link supplier capabilities with Raytheon requirements.
8. Developing commodity agreements
9. Developing and managing tenders including performing or supporting cost and price analysis, developing negotiation strategies, and leading negotiations in order to create value for money outcomes for procuring goods and services
10. Producing business cases/ briefing materials for management reviews
11. Working with suppliers and functional stakeholders to achieve collaborative partnering, strategic relationship management to deliver required service level KPIs
12. Executing customer requirements including government regulations, public law and Raytheon policies and procedures.
13. Actively promoting the contributions that the function can make to achieving corporate objectives across the organisation, with stakeholders and with the supply chain
14. Continually assessing and promoting sustainable and responsible procurement, including social, cultural and diversity values in the organisation and throughout the supply chain
15. Utilising project management skills and techniques when managing suppliers.
16. Evaluating the challenges faced by the organisation and the supply chains and taking action to mitigate risks and to develop opportunities
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
17. Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontracting, Procurement, Commodity Management and/or related field
18. Flexible and positive attitude
19. Able to perform effectively in a multi functional team
20. Excellent verbal and written communications
21. Experience in or exposure to negotiating low/medium complexity non-standard agreements
22. Experience of problem solving and/or low level dispute resolution
23. Experience or knowledge of MRP, SAP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes
24. Administration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and services
Desirable:
25. Related degree//MCIPS/BA or equivalent
26. Experience of developing and managing Subcontractor Relationship Management and collaborative working
27. Experience of programme management skills (IPDS/Risk Management/Programme Gating/ Metrics/SOW Development/Business Finance)
28. Knowledge of import/export legislation and logistical requirements
29. Experience of working with international suppliers/programmes
30. Process improvement skillset
