Asset Change Manager (Temporary) - Reading Rate: £50-£70/hr | On-site: 3-4 days/week | Working Pattern: 9-day cycle (flexible full-time/part-time) | DV Clearance required We are partnering with a highly respected organisation to recruit an experienced Asset Change Manager for a temporary assignment in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving critical asset change initiatives in a highly regulated, safety-focused environment. In this role, you will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering Asset Change Requests (ACRs), ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards and conventional industry regulations. You will be the driving force behind smooth, timely, and high-quality change delivery, with the opportunity to make a tangible impact across the organisation. What you'll be doing: Lead the planning and coordination of ACRs across the Tech Centre/ACB portfolio. Ensure all asset changes are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations. Provide clear performance reporting to management, tracking KPIs and metrics. Participate in Change Boards and contribute to Management Reviews. Build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain exemplary standards in safety, health, security, and environmental practices. About you: HNC/HND or Graduate-level qualification in Business Management, Project Management, or related discipline is advantageous. Proven experience in managing complex asset/facility-related challenges in highly regulated environments. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and compliance legislation. Experience balancing multiple priorities and delivering practical, high-quality solutions. DV Clearance is essential. Key skills: Exceptional planning, organisation, and multitasking abilities. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Leadership and teamwork mindset, capable of positively shaping change delivery. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Competence in managing external contractors and service providers. Sound understanding of risk assessment, hazard identification, and safety case considerations.
