We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Angmering from May 2026. This is a part-time position offered through Teaching Personnel, with pay in line with the main teacher pay scale.
The Role
* Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons to a Year 6 class
* Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments (SATs) with confidence and care
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
* Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
The Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum and SATs preparation
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
