Job Description
3. Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance across the entire employee journey - including performance and absence management, probation reviews, employee relations, and career development.
4. Support performance and growth, helping managers set clear goals and hold meaningful development conversations.
5. Ensure seamless people processes, managing flexible working requests, contract changes, promotions, salary reviews, and exit interviews with care and precision.
6. Build leadership capability, co-designing and delivering engaging training to empower managers and teams.
7. Shape policies and practices, ensuring they reflect our values and commitment to wellbeing and development.
8. Collaborate across People Operations and People and Culture teams, creating a joined-up employee experience and supporting business change initiatives.
9. Provide insight and accuracy, producing clear reports, data analysis, and supporting succession planning to build future capability.
10. Promote engagement and inclusion, actively supporting initiatives that strengthen our supportive culture.
11. Continuously improve people services, identifying opportunities to make work better for employees and managers alike.
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor (Fixed Term Contract) should have:
12. Experience in a generalist HR role, with a strong understanding of employment legislation and people processes.
13. Proven ability to support and coach managers, particularly in performance management and employee relations.
14. Experience in managing key HR processes, such as flexible working requests, salary reviews, and promotions.
15. Confidence in delivering training and building leadership capability across teams.
16. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels.
17. A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, focused on enhancing the employee experience.
