Role: Locum Consultant in Ophthalmology (Oculoplastics)
Rates: £100 - £125 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: 09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Queen Margaret Hospital

As an Ophthalmology Doctor at NHS Fife, you will utilize your surgical skills to treat and improve patients' vision, exploring treatment options and providing high-quality care.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
* Provide routine eye care, diagnose, treat eye diseases/injuries, perform surgeries
* Manage emergency and specialist clinics
* Collaborate with medical/non-medical staff for quality treatment
* Support patients and families, communicate clinical info clearly
* Engage in shared decision-making with patients
* Lead or work within multidisciplinary teams
* Assess patient needs, delegate effectively
* Monitor patient conditions, report changes
* Perform administrative tasks
Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications
* GMC registered Doctor (not necessarily on the Specialist Register)
* Relevant Consultant-level experience or references supporting transition
* Evidence of Right to Work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
* Pass an enhanced DBS check
