Driver Hire Carlisle are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Driver (CAT C ) on a Temp-Perm basis, for our well known and established client in the Cockermouth area. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role with the area leading catering supplies company. With early starts available, this is an ideal day role for someone who likes early mornings.
What We Offer a HGV Driver (CAT C):
1. £16.00-£20.50 PAYE ADV
2. Shifts run across Monday-Saturday
3. 5-6 Shifts per week, Saturday is essential
4. From 03:00am starts, with potential 12 hour shifts
5. Temp-Perm position after 12 weeks
Key Responsibilities for a HGV Driver (CAT C):
6. Delivery of Catering supplies within the UK to commercial properties
7. Multi drop role
8. Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirement
9. Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives
10. Represent the company professionally at all times
Experience & Qualifications for a HGV Driver (CAT C):
11. Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi Card
12. Minimum 6 months class 2 experience
13. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
14. Local deliver knowledge advantagious
