Purpose of the Role
The main purpose of the job is acting as an assistant to the park manager in supervising all aspects of the day to day running and maintenance of the property or properties under the job holders control, including the immediate supervision of staff (if appropriate) and contractors and ensuring the required standards are achieved and maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist the business park manager with the day to day running of the site
· Assist the business park manager to ensure that the Savills dashboard is up to date and complete at all times
· Deal with day to day management issues including liaising with tenants and contractors
· Arrange for necessary repairs to the site and instruct contractors to complete works as required, ensuring all quotes have been obtained and approved in a timely manner
· Conduct regular site inspections in liaison with the business park manager-monitoring activity, standard of maintenance, scheduled works
· Assist in the preparation of the annual service charge budget and ensure expenditure is monitored closely and in line with the service charge budget
· Assist in the processing of invoices, ensuring they are coded correctly for processing via Savills ICON system
· Ensure that high site standards are achieved and maintained at all times
· Assist with managing on site health and safety matters ensuring compliance at all times
· Production and coordination of information in line with Savills and Client requirements
· Create and maintain an effective working relationship with existing suppliers/contractors
· Administrative duties as directed by the business park manager
· Establish and implement best practice whilst ensuring safe working practices are complied with at all times
· Ensure appropriate, clear communication lines are established and maintained
· Carry out any other reasonable request of the Property Surveyor or Building Park Manager
· Ensure compliance with all client and Savills procedures and policies, including health and safety, COSHH and environmental matters
· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and codes of practice, health and safety requirements
· Establishing and developing good relations and partnerships with various authorities and local agencies
· Ensure that all promotional activities are carried out with due care and attention to the health and safety of staff customers and occupiers
· Establish and develop close working relationships with tenant representatives and manage tenant satisfaction, and confidence in Savills service delivery
· Adhere to quality assurance requirements
· Ensure compliance at all times with operational standards
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· Proficient in Microsoft word, excel
· Health and Safety knowledge
· Customer relations
· Knowledge of accounts and reconciliation preferable
Working Hours - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary - £29,993
