GSL Education are working with schools across Sheffield (S5, S9) to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide consistent classroom support. In this role, the Teaching Assistant (TA) will assist pupils with their learning, support engagement, and help create a positive and structured environment that encourages progress. Prime Responsibilities: Support pupils during lessons and classroom activities. Assist with preparing and adapting learning resources. Encourage positive behaviour and active participation. Work with individuals or small groups to support learning needs. Collaborate with teaching staff to promote pupil progress. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
