Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records across the group, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in accounting software, payroll and a strong understanding of financial management principles.
Duties
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial management accounts.
* Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
* Manage credit control across the group.
* Managing accounting software for Xero, for efficient financial management.
* Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic planning, reporting into the Director.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
* Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance.
* Manage and report on Payroll system, including pensions, benefit in kind, RTi and HMRC.
Experience
* Proven experience in accounting and payroll.
* Strong proficiency in accounting software for Xero and Bright Pay for Payroll.
* Demonstrated knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
* Experience with companies house and compliance regulations.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
