NDT & Coatings QC Inspector – Flintshire / North Wales £37p/h (outside IR35) site-based immediate start min 3-month contract (rolling) NDT & Coatings QC Inspector responsibilities include: Provide independent inspection and quality control services relating to equipment in manufacture, fabrication, and construction. Provide detailed reports following inspections & quality control. Equipment includes piping equipment and other mechanical items manufactured and installed to conventional codes, standards, and regulations. Review of fabrication / manufacturing documentation within delegated authority levels in terms of quality plans, ITP’s fabrication / manufacturing procedures, welding procedures, NDE procedures, compilation, and review of LTQRs. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both internal and external Customers. NDT & Coatings QC Inspector profile: CSWIP 3.1/3.2 PCN Level 2 in Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT / MPI) or combination of other PCNs Painting & Coating certification – BGAS, CIP, ICORR, NACE or similar Experience within Nuclear or MOD highly advantageous Experience with Life-Time Quality Records (LTQRs) Sound understanding of Materials, Welding and NDE techniques Good working knowledge of UK requirements for Inspection in high hazard industries Ability to work successfully in a team, providing guidance, support and training as and when necessary.
