High Skills Technician - Electrical/Electronic Engineering

* Salary: £31,632 to £33,621 per annum, including London Weighting
* Job Type: Full-time
Join our clients highly successful team in an exciting opportunity as a High Skills Technician in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. This role supports their higher education delivery and the West London Institute of Technology, which offers a range of higher education programmes.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Work within various labs including the Power and Robotics Lab, PLCs and Mechatronics Lab, Electronics Lab, and LN Experiments Lab.
* Assist lecturers in preparing equipment and resources for teaching and learning.
* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in efficient working condition.
* Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
* At least 2 years’ experience with electrical equipment, PLCs, robotics, and mechatronics.
* Proficiency in higher education software such as Multisim, Matlab, PLC, Verilog, Labview, and C Programming.
* Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
