As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing engaging social media campaigns, driving brand awareness and fostering audience engagement. Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engage our target audience. Create compelling and visually appealing content with a focus on video for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube. Monitor and manage social media accounts, responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for social media growth and innovation. Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media campaigns with other marketing activities, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning. Analyse social media performance using analytics tools to track key metrics, identify trends and provide actionable insights for optimising future campaigns. Stay informed about the latest social media platform updates, algorithm changes and best practices and apply this knowledge to improve our social media presence. Monitor competitor social media activities and industry benchmarks to identify areas for improvement and stay ahead of market trends. Support the development and implementation of social media advertising campaigns, including ad creation, targeting and optimisation. Assist in organising and executing social media competitions, giveaways and other promotional activities to drive engagement and expand our online community. Organise and implement campaigns, communications and challenges through our Brio app for all members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers and other members of the digital marketing team, to ensure high-quality and engaging social media content. Qualifications and Skills: Ideally a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field or similar qualification. Demonstrable experience managing social media platforms and campaigns. Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and best practices. Ability to work flexible hours to suit business needs and a clean driving license. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of SEO and digital advertising strategies. Proficiency in graphic design tools and photo/video editing software. Professional certifications in social media or digital marketing Experience in content creation, copywriting or graphic design.
