Weekend Nights Operations Analyst - AOG / Time-Critical Logistics
Location: Derby
Shift pattern: Friday to Sunday | 8:00pm - 8:00am
Contract: Permanent
Salary up to £37,000
I'm recruiting for an experienced Weekend Nights Operations Analyst to support time-critical AOG and aerospace logistics operations .
This role is ideal for a proven night-shift operator who is confident managing urgent air and road freight movements independently, making real-time decisions, and delivering under pressure.
What you'll be doing
Managing AOG, Aerospace & Defence, and Automotive shipments via Air and Road
Producing accurate quotations for time-critical movements via phone, email, and customer platforms
Proactively monitoring live shipments and providing regular customer updates
Coordinating with airlines, hauliers, partners, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery
Managing bookings, documentation, and all operational activity within a TMS, escalating issues where required
Essential experience (applications without these will not be considered)
Proven AOG operational experience
Valid IATA Dangerous Goods (DG) Certificate
MAYB experience
Strong Air Export operations background
Experience handling Imports, Exports, and Cross-Trade shipments
