A great Hove based client are looking to recruit a full time Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Job Description
As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:
* Processing purchase ledger including support with prepayments and accruals
* Preparing supplier payments
* Allocating incoming funds and sending payment confirmations as required
* Credit Card expenses
* Reconcile related control accounts
* Processing journals where required
* Maintain Fixed Asset register with depreciation
* Maintain supporting records as required
* Support with budget monitoring and cost analysis
* Support with payroll processing
* Month end/year end duties as required
* Bank activity processing and reconciliation
The Successful Applicant
* Strong excel (Pivot Tables, V Looks Ups)
* Accounting software
* Hybrid working (3 days in office, no parking) and 2 days WFH
