Client Payroll Administrator (Education Managed Services) Location: Manchester, UK Salary: Competitive plus bonus and benefits We’re recruiting Client Payroll Administrators to join our Payroll Services team. This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, detail-oriented and customer-focused, and who are looking to build a career within payroll or shared services. You’ll play a key role in supporting Payroll Managers and Team Leaders by ensuring payroll administration is accurate, compliant and delivered to a high standard. This role will be recruited via an in-person assessment centre at our Manchester office on Monday 19th January 2026 from 10:00 to 15:30. What you’ll be doing * Supporting the accurate processing of client payrolls * Managing and maintaining client documentation and records * Updating documentation for newly onboarded clients * Maintaining monthly spreadsheets and payroll trackers * Handling incoming calls and directing queries appropriately * Verifying BACS and HMRC submissions for accuracy and timeliness * Completing data entry checks and audit log reviews * Supporting year-end processes, including distribution of P60s * Providing general administrative support to Payroll Managers and Team Leads * What we’re looking for * Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy * Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Good organisation and time-management skills * A customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills * Willingness to learn and support a busy payroll function * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Previous experience in payroll or administration is beneficial but not essential — full training and support will be provided.
