Due to continued growth and contract awards we are looking for Rig Surveyors – Mechanical on a contract basis.
Track record & criteria
* Personnel having attained status of Chief Engineer and/or member of a Professional Body.
* Track record in a senior role with a drilling contractor as part of the maintenance crew covering drilling equipment, marine systems, hydraulic systems, main machinery, hoisting / lifting, mud processing systems, surface well control and other rig floor equipment.
* Conversant with maintenance management systems, including condition-based monitoring.
* Track record of different drilling rig types, including design, generation, manufacturer.
* Up-to-date with industry codes and standards.
* Track record of management / maintenance role with a drilling contractor, including Technical Superintendent, Technical Section Leader, Maintenance Superintendent or similar.
* Have cross-discipline experience including:
o Hydraulics systems
o Marine & barge equipment.
o Surface well control equipment.
* Track record working with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
