What You Will Be Doing
The finishing department is vital to our production process, ensuring campaigns and event products are delivered finished, trimmed, and ready for installation or use. You will be responsible for finishing and collating printed or supplied products according to job specifications. You will work as part of a team across various material types, large and small format items, and 3D structures, using standard large-format finishing machinery.
You will collaborate closely with account and production teams to ensure all projects meet and exceed client requirements.
In this busy department, your tasks will include:
1. Working to daily set tasks.
2. Following instructions for campaign and event finishing requirements.
3. Reporting to production managers throughout the day.
4. Working as part of a team to achieve daily objectives to a high standard.
5. Following an online work schedule.
6. Adhering to health & safety rules and procedures.
7. Communicating effectively and professionally with team members and other departments.
8. Working overtime shifts, including weekends and weekdays, as required.
The Skills and Experience You Need
You should be outgoing, organized, capable, friendly, helpful, and a confident self-starter.
Operational knowledge in Zund cutting tables (kiss cutting, routing, etc.), laminating (heated rollers and vinyl application), hand finishing (wrap mounting, weeding), PVC banner fabrication, and cardboard engineering is essential.
Attention to detail and a commitment to getting it right the first time are important.
You should take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm, and motivated, with the ability to multi-task and work well in a team.
