We’re seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Civil and Structural Engineering team in Bristol as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme, where you’ll help deliver sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society. As a Stantec graduate, you’ll collaborate across disciplines in an open, supportive environment with guidance from senior colleagues to accelerate your development.
Your Role
* Assist with the design of foul and surface water drainage systems using hydraulic modelling software (MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage).
* Assist with the design of external works/levels using Civil 3D.
* Help prepare Drainage Strategy reports suitable for planning.
* Support applications for Section 104, 106 and 185 agreements with local water authorities, and Section 278/38 agreements with local highways authorities.
* Assist in obtaining consents from LLFAs, Water Authorities and the Environment Agency.
* Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and other members of the design team.
* Attend site visits and support inspections.
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers during design and construction stages.
* Support engineers, senior engineers and project managers throughout the various design stages.
* Participate in CPD and civil engineering graduate training schemes.
About You
