What You’ll Be Doing


* Paint process (Body preparation, sanding, painting, polishing)
* Paint application techniques
* Paint Quality Control and process adherence
* Defect analysis / problem solving
* New Product feasibility (new material introduction)
* Paint testing
* Day release arrangement

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who are curious, hands-on, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment. You’ll bring engagement, creativity, and a positive attitude to everything you do, with the confidence to ask questions and tackle challenges head-on. Your attention to detail and passion for technology, particularly in paint processes and materials, will set you apart.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need IT and communication skills, excellent team-working behaviours, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You’ll take responsibility for projects from start to finish, solving diverse situations and delivering to the highest quality standards while working to defined timelines.

Essential Requirements


* GCSE’s grades 4-9 in Maths, English and a Science subject or equivalent.
* Able to commute to our St Athan site by own means/personal transport.
* Able to attend the college by own means/personal transport.
* Study and attain Vehicle damage paint technician, Level: 3
