University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated Data Delivery Project Manager to support the delivery of the Wessex Secure Data Environment (SDE) and the Southampton Emerging Therapies and Technologies (SETT) Centre.

Responsibilities
* Manage delivery of technical enablement and healthcare research projects, data marts and data pipelines.
* Work with a range of stakeholders across Wessex to deliver data projects (NHS acute, community and GP data providers), liaising with clinical, technical and senior management teams.
* Liaise with SETT Data, R&D and CIRU (University of Southampton) personnel.
* Work across the SDE network and wider national groups (e.g., BRC, genomics networks, NHS England) for coordination and delivery of national projects.
* Establish and operate programme and project governance.
* Work autonomously to lead and deliver projects using a variety of methodologies, including Project Initiation Document, stakeholder map, project plan, RAID log, RACI matrix, communications and engagement plans, weekly highlight report and project board report.
* Use a range of appropriate software tools to maintain project management (e.g., ZoHo, ClickUp, EDGE, Excel, Word).
* Document risk and issues as they arise, and manage or escalé them as appropriate.
* Report as required to senior management and boards.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
* Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Tech, Business, Change) or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience.
* Master’s or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience.
* Recognised Project Management qualification to practitioner level or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge and practical experience of the management and successful delivery of full project lifecycle (including pre‑project phases) of medium projects.
* Practical experience of presenting complex and technical information to internal and external groups.
* Project management skills, including use of multiple methodologies (e.g., waterfall and agile).
Desirable Criteria
* Recognised relevant change management qualifications (e.g., relating to risk, benefits, change, business analysis, or continuous improvement).
* Other project and change management training courses.
* Staff management training courses.
* Management and successful delivery of full project lifecycle of medium, small and very small change projects (including pre‑project phases) in an Acute NHS Trust, a provider NHS (non‑acute) or the NHS.
* Evidence of recent further professional development.
