Troubleshooting: Identify mechanical issues and determine root causes of equipment failures; perform repairs or coordinate with other professionals for complex repairs. Equipment Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of machinery to monitor performance and safety standards. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and inventory of parts. Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams to develop improvement strategies for production processes. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and contribute to creating a safe working environment. Training: Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.Person Specification Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2-5 years in a maintenance engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings. Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
