Overview
Client Manager (Global Insurance Broker) – Cyber, Media & Technology Practice. Hybrid role based in Norwich requiring at least three days in the office per week. The Client Manager will join Marsh’s Cyber, Media & Technology Practice and support a portfolio of existing accounts within a skilled team.
What you can expect:
* The Client Manager will provide full support to both the Client Executive and Broker, and manage the placement process for new business and renewals.
* Responsibilities extend from client/intermediary/market onboarding through to collection and distribution of premiums, as well as routine servicing of accounts.
* Requires an in-depth understanding of CE/Broker requirements and clients within product lines and/or defined areas, in conjunction with technical knowledge.
* Depending on seniority and experience, the CM may directly engage with clients, intermediaries and markets to ensure timely and accurate processing of placements and comprehensive servicing.
We will rely on you to:
* Use risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to develop placement solutions that meet client needs.
* Implement the placement strategy to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
* Develop the go‑to‑market strategy and articulate the value of the placement function; participate in pricing of services as applicable.
* Facilitate submission of coverage specifications and obtain quotes from carriers based on the Client First Principles for Broking: Identify, Promote, Pursue, Handle, Continue, Manage.
* Bind coverage and ensure the accuracy of placement binders.
* Create and maintain relationships within the practice, insurance markets, clients, and underwriters to provide cohesive client service.
* Advise on changing insurance and risk management market conditions and inform client executives, client advisors, and/or clients of major developments affecting products/coverage.
* Interface closely with client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production.
* Lead senior placement/technical support activities on assigned accounts, ensure procedural compliance, review data and update renewal exhibits, and maintain accurate placement system entries to ensure contract execution.
* Advise management about client issues or trends and participate in developing solutions.
What you need to have:
* Ability to process instructions under pressure and develop relationships.
* Confident and articulate verbal and written communicator.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
* Previous or current experience working for an Insurance Broker.
* Ability to build effective relationships with processing/fiduciary colleagues (on and offshore) to ensure clarity and prompt resolution of queries and payments.
* Role scope and CM involvement depend on experience and seniority; the CM role encompasses a range of grades and responsibilities.

Marsh McLennan supports hybrid work, combining remote work with in‑person collaboration. All colleagues are expected to be in their local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office teams will identify an anchor day when the full team is together in person.
