As Utilities & Compliance Planner, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with on‑site teams to ensure all assets are effectively maintained and fully compliant with operational requirements. The role requires strong planning and organisational skills, with a clear focus on health and safety, regulatory compliance, and budget control. Your contribution will support the efficient and reliable operation of the site, enabling the continued production of millions of litres of beer and non‑alcoholic beverages, while upholding our site's heritage and sustaining the Heineken legacy.


Core Responsibilities

* Plan maintenance (preventative & corrective) within the remit of the site's utilities and facility assets, ensuring compliance with PSSR and LOLER.
* Monitor and seek improvements to conformity and adherence of schedules related to PSSR and LOLER frameworks.
* Manage work order compliance and ensure maximum plant availability and readiness.
* Manage embedded contractors in scheduled/routine utilities and facilities inspections, servicing, and maintenance.
* Work with the Head of Facilities and Head of Utilities to manage the annual budget allocated to Repair & Maintenance (R&M) with proactive ownership of budget controls.
* Plan and execute shutdown periods, while ensuring all departments receive guidance and support through these periods.
* Collaborate with Health & Safety and Quality teams to ensure successful external audits related to ISO standards and fire risk assessments.
* Utilise SAP software and MS Office suite for scheduling maintenance procedures and procurement related activities.
* Manage contract renewals with regular interface of external customers, clients, and third‑party providers.

You will sit within the wider Maintenance & Services team, working alongside a mix of stakeholders who keep our site utilities running and maintained at their best. Together, you help make sure our brews are made safely, compliantly and efficiently – with sustainability always in mind.


Ideal Candidate

* Proven experience in compliance planning within PSSR and LOLER frameworks (essential).
* Proficiency in maintenance and office systems, including SAP (eg Maximo) and Microsoft Office.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance planning role or closely related position.
* Permit‑to‑work training with practical experience in confined spaces and working at height.
* Experience in contractor and contract management.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Participation in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit activities (desirable).
* HNC or a formally recognised engineering qualification (eg apprenticeship level) desirable but not essential.
